I am simply JessieLeigh, wife of one, mama of three.
In the wee hours of the morning on Christmas Eve of ’05, I welcomed my second child into the world almost four months early… and a scant eleven months after my first child.
I am well aware of how unexpected some miracles can be!
I believe in celebrating the simple joys and blessings that are bestowed upon us each and every day… and in not judging others who choose to celebrate theirs in a different way.
I am a fierce advocate for all babies, including the unborn.
I can be opinionated and feisty- especially if I feel our babies’ best interests are at stake- but I also welcome spirited discussion and learning new things!
I have formula-fed, exclusively pumped, and exclusively breastfed. I have had a “typical” birth, a wild emergency c-section, and a planned c-section. I have lived in the Midwest, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and South. These experiences have helped me be open-minded to different ways of doing things… and kept me humble enough not to set up shop on a high horse.
Still, I have much to learn and look forward to being inspired by hearing about your joyful gifts and discoveries.
Come join me in celebrating life’s (sometimes unexpected) miracles and blessings!
