Menu Plan: August? Say it ain’t so!

 

 

First of all, let me just tell you that it was hard for me to type that title. I kid you not! I just don’t really ever say “ain’t” and, apparently, it doesn’t even flow well when I’m typing. Ha! I probably should have gone with, “August? That can’t be true!” :)

 

Anyway, August arrives this week and I am not really thrilled about that. I’m just not ready to admit that summer break is more than half over. Boo hoo! Still, we have plenty of hot, sunny days ahead and I plan on enjoying them to the fullest!

 

Here’s the plan for what we’re eating:

Sunday: 

B–Cheerios, Bananas, Milk (for A, before 7:30AM Mass– my girls were with my parents)

L–Scrambled Eggs w/ Bacon, Toast, OJ

D–Sunday Supper at Bama & Papa’s– my dad made (delicious) Chinese food… yum!

 

Monday:

B-=Cinnamon Sugar Oven Pancake, Yogurt, Juice

D–Creamy Chicken & Broccoli Rotini (<– another one pot wonder)

 

Tuesday:

B–Cheerios, Raisins, Milk

D–Pizza Braid

 

Wednesday: 

B–Blueberry Muffins, Eggs, OJ

D–Linguine, Peas (date night)

 

Thursday:

B–Blueberry Muffins, Applesauce, Milk

D–Pigs in Blankets, Apples, Pickles

 

Friday:

B–Black and Blue Smoothies, Toast

D–Lg. Pepperoni Pizza, Med. Cheese Pizza

 

Saturday:

B–Scr. Eggs, Key Lime Shortbread Muffins, Fruit

D–Blackened Burgers w/ Bleu Cheese (and sides)
