Menu Plan: Catch Me, Please

 

 

Would someone please catch me, as I fall over in a deep faint?

 

My BABY turns five this week. FIVE!!! Isn’t that ridiculous???

May as well get used to it, I guess… next year, I have one entering the double digits. Madness, I tell you. I’m too young for this. ;)

 

 

 

So, with her birthday this week and Father’s Day and MY birthday coming up next week, here’s what we’ll be eating:

Sunday:

B– Cereal, Apples, Milk (for the littles, before 7:30am Mass)

Dandelion Scones

L–Lemon Dandelion Scones, Scrambled Eggs, Juice

D–Chicken & Spanish Rice Burritos

 

Monday:

B– Eggs, Toast w/ Dandelion Jelly, Juice

PeanutNoodles

D–Hot & Sour Peanut Noodles w/ Chicken, Broccoli, Cauliflower, & Carrots

 

Tuesday:

B–Raspberry Muffins, Vanilla Yogurt

D–Yellow Rice w/ Ground Turkey & Sweet Onions

 

 

Wednesday:

B–Raspberry Muffins, Apples, Milk

 

D– Cheesy Chick Peas & Rice (date night) — my kids had chick peas with dinner not long ago and pronounced them the best things ever, so, I’m game for that!

 

Thursday: (G’s Fifth Birthday!!! All meals are the birthday girl’s picks.)

B–Marshmallow Stars Cereal, Strawberries, Blueberries

L–Apple, Black Olives, and a whole Tomato (nope– not kidding; that’s what she wants)

 

D–Mac & Cheese w/ Shrimp, Salad w/ bleu cheese

 

Friday:

B–Eggs, Toast w/ Dandelion Jelly, Milk

D–Large Sausage Pizza, Medium Cheese Pizza

 

Saturday:

Vanilla Blackberry Oven Pancake

B–Blackberry Oven Pancake, Bacon, Fruit, Milk

D–Angelhair w/ Meatballs, Green Beans

    I LOVE G’s lunch choice for her Birthday. It is almost the same as what my younger daughter would pick for her Birthday lunch especially the whole tomato.
