Do Tuesday menu plans annoy you? I hope not, because this schedule is kinda working for me right now!
Nobody fainted this week! So, hey, that’s a plus, right? Also, we had several warm-ish, sunny days, which was delightful. Even with that, though, we still have oodles of snow out there. Gracious!
We spent much of the week filling a dumpster we rented. Honestly, while not fun, there is something wonderful about just getting RID of all that clutter and stuff. I feel like I can breathe a little easier around here.
In between all that, here’s what we’ve eaten and what we’ll be eating:
Breakfast– Cereal, Apples, Milk (for the littles, before 7:30AM Mass)
Brunch– Birthday party for my nephew who turned 14 (!!!!)– French Toast, Sausages, Fruit, Coffee, Juice, Cake
D– Salsa Cheese Chicken (slow cooker) over Penne
B–White Chocolate Grape Oatmeal (this was a new one for us!), Milk
D–Pigs in Blankets, Carrot Sticks, Salad
D–Chicken & Crab Chow Mei Fun (<– My husband LOVES mei fun. It rocked his world when I learned how to make it. )
B–Cereal, Eggs, Fruit
D–Cheese Roll-Ups, Peas (date night!)
B–PB Toast w/ Raisins, Milk
D–Roast Chicken, Rice, Green Beans
B–Pineapple Vanilla Smoothies, Toast
B–Chocolate Oven Pancake w/ Strawberries (<– I’m winging this. I’ll share if it’s good!)
L–Sandwiches, Pretzels, Apple Slices
D–Shrimp w/ Creamy Tomato Sauce (Again, all three of my kids are shrimp fiends. It cracks me up.)
And that’s the plan! Next week is a brand new month, and I’m grateful for that. Shelves are getting a touch bare around here…
