Menu Plan: Tell me what to pack for lunch!


Well, what a difference a week makes!


The temps have dropped and the air is dry, meaning our nights dip down into the 40s sometimes and blankets are much needed. It feels good! I’m not one to rush seasons, however, so this menu plan still looks more “summery” than “fallish” to me. That’s okay! Plenty of time for pumpkin, in my opinion.


We’ll be heading to visit our friends on the Massachusetts shore again this next weekend. It’s kind of a tradition of ours to go there in June and September. I can’t wait to see them again! I always pack a lunch to share upon our arrival. Last time, I made two types of burritos and they were very well-received. Any suggestions for what I should pack this time?


Here’s the plan:




Breakfast (for the littles before 7:30am Mass)–Cheerios, Yogurt, Juice

Brunch–Biscuits & Sausage Gravy, Oranges

D–Sunday Supper at B & P’s



B–Yogurt & Granola, OJ

D–Lasagna Casserole, Green Beans (my garden is still producing a few!)




B–Pancakes, Grapes, Milk

D--Chicken Fajitas w/ rainbow peppers and red onion




B–Pancakes, Grapes, Milk

D–Taco Bean Pie  <– basically this recipe, but meatless (date night!)




B–Yogurt & Granola, OJ

D–Ground Chicken & Green Chili Burgers on Challah Rolls



B–Banana Chocolate Smoothies, Toast

D–1/2 Cheese, 1/2 Sausage Pizza



B–Breakfast Burritos

L–with our friends! Again… what should I bring?!?

D–…?? Not sure! But I’m betting there will be delicious sangria involved. :)
