Ranch-y Bleu Cheese Turkey Burgers

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 oz. bleu cheese crumbles


Mix together all of the above in a large bowl. Form into four patties. Cook thoroughly over med-high heat, about five minutes per side. (Ground turkey can be quite lean, so you may want to give the pan a quick spray of cooking oil before you start.)


Toast 4 buns. Spread each with a thick layer of Ranch Spread:


  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion flakes
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper


Mix all ingredients. I do this in my mixer, because it can be a workout if done by hand. It’s possible, but it’s some work. (You will have leftovers; use it as dip for carrots, raw peppers, celery, or pretzels!)
