Menu Plan: Play ball!

 

It’s baseball season again!

 

The official season (and the games that go with it) will not start until the end of this month, but practice is in full swing! Luckily, both coaches’ wives are buddies of mine and we have a blast catching up and laughing together.

 

Spring is always a busy time for us, but it’s so fun to get back to our outdoor activities– baseball, horseback riding, hiking, etc. Three cheers for the great outdoors! Anyway, here’s what we’re eating this week–

 

Sunday:

Breakfast (for the littles before 7:30am Mass)–Organic Cheerio-type cereal, Yogurt

Brunch–Steak & Eggs, Bagels, Carrot Sticks, Apple Slices (a veritable feast!)

Snack–String cheese and popcorn

 

D–My godson’s birthday party. He’s (*sniff*) turning 11… wasn’t he just BORN???

 

Monday:

B–Brown Sugar & Raisin Oatmeal, Coconut Milk

D–BBQ Hot Dogs, Rice Pilaf

 

Tuesday:  

 

B–Spiced Carrot Muffins, Apples, Milk

D–Macaroni Meatball Soup, Italian Bread

 

Wednesday:

B–Spiced Carrot Muffins, Oranges, Milk

 

D–Poor Man’s Chicken Parm, Broccoli

 

Thursday: 

B–Cranberry Dark Chocolate Oatmeal, Apples, Milk

D–Chili & Corn Bread before baseball practice (late night date night for us!)

 

Friday:

B–Banana Pineapple Smoothie, Toast

D–Mushroom Pizza (the 3yo’s request!)

 

Saturday:

B–Bacon, Mushroom, Egg, & Cheese Breakfast Burritos, Oranges

D–Spinach Lasagne

 

 

And that’ll do it!
