Menu Plan: Last Week of Double 7s!

 

Goodness, this past week was a little rough. Nothing crazy, mind you. Just a fever that simply wouldn’t drop below 103 for a full week. With strep and flu running rampant around here, there was much panic in the air. Thankfully, mother’s instincts and a conservative doctor allowed us to pretty much monitor and wait it out…

 

and he’s fine.

 

This will be the last week of having two seven-year-olds. Next week, A. will turn eight. Why does that sound so OLD to me?!?

 

Anyway, here’s what we’ll be eating–

 

Sunday:

Brunch–Cinnamon Roll Bread, Sausage Links, Fruit

 

Snack– Popcorn, Yogurt

D–Burgers, Baked Beans, Potato Chips, Carrot Sticks, Orange Slices

 

Monday:

B–Breakfast Burritos, Milk

D–Chicken Parm, Spaghetti, Green Beans

 

Tuesday: 

B–Oatmeal, Milk

D–Chicken, Cream Cheese, & Green Chile Burritos

 

Wednesday:

B–Apple Muffins, Cheddar

D–Rice w/ Beans, Peas, & Cheese (kids’ request– yes, really– and our date night)

 

Thursday:

B–Blueberry Vanilla Cream Oatmeal, Milk

D–Pigs in Blankets, Broccoli w/ Cheese Sauce

 

Friday:

B–Banana Orange Smoothies, Toast

D–Pepperoni Pizza

 

Saturday:

B–Pancakes, Applesauce

 

D–Ham & Swiss Stuffed Pockets, Peas

 

I am excited to be preparing to celebrate my sweet boy’s birthday– we have a delicious family brunch planned and an awesome hockey party with friends!
