Menu Plan: 10/7 — Smoky Leaves


Mmm… that smoky, leafy Autumn smell is in the air and I couldn’t be loving it more! The pumpkin cart is out in front of the farm across the road and the blazing orange trees make a fabulous backdrop for the noisy crows who descend upon our yard.


I may be sad that the sun is setting earlier and earlier each week, but the pain is lessened by the fact that I can watch the sun set over the mountains as I prepare our evening meals:



B: Cheerios, Applesauce, Milk (for the littles, before 7:30am Mass)

Brunch: Pancakes, Ham, Oranges

D:¬†Hmmmm…. we’ll see. :)



B: Banana White Chocolate Oatmeal, Milk

D: Fettucine Alfredo w/ Crab & Mushrooms



B: Acorn Squash Pumpkin Pie Bread, Cheese, Juice

D: French Onion Soup, Homemade Poppers (<– this will be my first attempt at those)



B: Acorn Squash Pumpkin Pie Bread, Mixed Fruit, Milk (<– recipe for that bread coming Tuesday, 10/9/12)

D: Chicken & Rice Enchiladas, Corn on the Cob



B: Tea & Crumpets Oatmeal, Apples, Milk

D: Salmon, Rice, & Broccoli



B: Mixed Berry Smoothies, Toast

D: Roasted Garlic & Peppers on a White Pizza



B: Breakfast Burritos

L: Chicken Noodles, Jello

D: Cheesy Broccoli, Chicken, & Rice Casserole
