Menu Plan: 7/15 – Utter Madness



I’m not going to lie to you all:  This week has me shaking in my boots.


“Summer Break” is a bit of a misnomer for us as we run ragged between Tails to Tales Camp, swimming lessons X 3, karate, horseback riding, moms’ ministry, summer school, (<– every single one of those things is in a different town, by the way) and… oh, I know there’s even more, but I’m getting heart palpitations just thinking about it. *Sigh.*


Anyway, despite the busy-ness, we still need to eat! And having a solid plan in place ensures that we won’t completely bust the budget with convenience foods. (I’ll admit I’m rather happy that our entire eating out budget for the month is still there, though… just in case!)


Here’s what we’re serving up this week:



B: Cheerios, Raspberry Applesauce, Milk (for the kiddos, before Mass)

Brunch: Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Breakfast Sandwiches on Whole Wheat Rolls

Snack: Fried Zucchini

D: Sunday Supper at Bama & Papa’s



B: Tea & Crumpets Oatmeal w/ Apples & Blueberries, Milk


D: Miga Wraps, Tomato Slices



B: PB&J Oatmeal, Milk

D: Shrimp Tacos, Fresh Sweet Corn (it’s off the cob– but just barely! ;))



B: Maple Raisin Oatmeal, Milk

D: Chicken Chunk Kebabs w/ Peanut Sauce, Brown Rice, Carrots (from my garden!)



B: Vanilla Nut Oatmeal, Berries, OJ

D: Veggie Quesadillas w/ Salsa



B: Vanilla Maple Smoothies, Fresh Peaches (we got the heads-up from our CSA that those peaches would be arriving on Thursday!)

D: Stuffed Pizza Breadsticks




B: Egg in a Hole, Peaches & Cream

L: Chicken Noodle Soup, Jello

D: Burgers, Sweet Corn, Pickles (<– that I made! I’m overly proud of myself about that…)


And that’s the plan around here!
