Peppermint Creme Oatmeal
Doesn’t it look good?
Or how about this one?
Tea & Crumpets Oatmeal
We love oatmeal around here, and I have long-declared myself the Unofficial Queen of Oatmeal Varieties.
My kids have reaped the rewards of my creations for a long time. And now it’s your turn!
Today is my birthday, but I have a gift for all of you…
Simply subscribe to Parenting Miracles (follow the dandelions at the top right of the screen or click here) and you will receive a link to 20 Ways to Make Oatmeal Special at the bottom of the posts you receive via email or feed!***
20 Ways to Make Oatmeal Special includes twenty recipes (with photos) of all sorts of delicious oatmeal varieties. Organized into the categories of The Classics, Delight the Littles, Savory & Unique, Healthy Indulgences, and Grown-Up Twists, there are varieties to please any palette!
Oatmeal is a healthy and frugal breakfast option, but it can sometimes get dull. That is, unless you’ve got a few (or 20!) tricks up your sleeve!
I am so honored to be able to share all these family favorites with my wonderful readers. Thanks for being a part of this community!

YAY!!! Thank you, thank you!
You’re so welcome!!
I cannot get the link to work, even though I am a subscriber.
I’m so sorry! Do you see the link, Erin? Is it showing up on the feed/email for you? (should be at the bottom of each post) Trying to trouble-shoot where the issue might be…
I can see the link on the email I got, but it is an eternal “click-to-the-next-thing” situation. Please don’t feel bad!
On a happier note, did you have a fantastic birthday??!!

I only just found your website via moneysavingmom.com and I subscribed to your email list. I’m hoping the ebook is still available, but I’m excited about following you either way! God bless.
Hi Miranda! Thanks so much for subscribing! The link to the oatmeal ebook should appear at the bottom of each “new post” email the you receive through your subscription. It’s definitely still available!
Awesome! Can’t wait to put it to use. J was not happy with steel cut oats, but my mom found a rolled version that is wheat/gluten free…hurry! (Takes 10-20 min. to cook though)…hoping to experiment tomorrow!

Yay! You should be able to shave about half that cooking time off by soaking your rolled oats overnight before you cook them. That’s what I (usually) do and it speeds up the process AND improves the texture, IMHO.
This is perfect for our family. I can’t wait to see what ideas you have since I make oatmeal almost every single day for my son. I’m sure he’s ready for a little variety
I hope you find a couple of new favorites, Christine!
We eat a LOT of oatmeal, and I have tons of fun concocting new varieties.
