Menu Plan: 4/15 – Six Years, Adjusted

Today may be “Tax Day” to the rest of you but, for me, it will always have a much more significant meaning:

 

April 15th was C’s original due date.  (Hence today’s title– when you have a preemie, you spend the first few years speaking in terms of “adjusted age.”)  Can you imagine??? Think back to how long ago Christmas Eve seems right now.  Yep.  That’s how early she was.  That thought always gives me shivers…

 

Sniff, sniff… okay!  Mushy stuff aside, here’s what’s hittin’ the table:

 

Sunday

B: Cheerios, Yogurt, Juice

L: Eggs & Ham “in a Nest”, Fruit

S: Soft Pretzels with mustard dip

D: Sunday supper at Bama & Papa’s

 

Monday

B: Candied Walnut & Pear Oatmeal, Milk

D: Chicken Parmesan, Pasta, Broccoli

 

Tuesday

 

B: Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal, Milk

D: Chicken & Ham Crepes

 

Wednesday

B: Granola, Applesauce, Milk

D: BBQ Chicken, Baked Potatoes

 

Thursday

B: PB Raisin Toast, Milk

D: Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwiches, fruit (<– to go!  It’s baseball practice season.)

 

Friday

B: Banana Berry Smoothies, Toast

D: Chicken, Spinach, & Feta Pizza

 

Saturday

B: Cinnamon Roll Bread, Sausage Links, Fruit

L: Homemade Soup & Bread

D: Chicken Pot Pie

 

 

 

And that’s the plan!
