Frozen Berries and Cream

This drink seems a touch “girly” to me– mainly due to the color, I think.  It is sweet and creamy and bursting with fresh berry flavor.  I would happily serve this up at a brunch, a cook-out, or a bridal shower.  It’s quick and easy, with simple ingredients!  (This one is super simple to transform into a virgin version for any children or non-drinkers in your life, too– simply replace the vodka with milk.)

Frozen Berries and Cream

  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk (Did you make this recipe?  You probably have some leftover!)
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries (I use frozen berries that come mixed– raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry, but you could certainly freeze your own in whatever combination you prefer.)
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Blend vodka, condensed milk, and berries until smooth.  Gradually feed in ice cubes and continue blending until thick and creamy.  Pour (or spoon) into glasses.  (I used a crystal water goblet here– don’t feel pigeon-holed by glassware; use whatever works.)  Serves 2.

So there you go!  Four easy, grown-up blender drinks you can whip up in a flash.  They’re not terribly strong, but they all have great flavor.  Impress your guests with a new signature cocktail.
