Menu Plan: 12/18 – A Tea Party!

Our school lets up after Thursday this week, which means– for the first time I can recall– the kids will be off the entire day of the 23rd.  I’m taking advantage of this fact (and hopefully helping a few mommies out) by hosting C’s birthday party that day!  We’ll be having a “Dolly & Me Tea Party” and I’ve been mending fancy dress-up clothes all weekend in preparation.  Fun!

Here’s what I’m planning for this busy, celebratory week!

Sunday:

Early Breakfast for the littles-Cereal, Apple Sauce, Water (before 7:30am mass)

Brunch-Coconut Almond Coffee Cake, Homemade Turkey Sausage Patties, Mango

Mid-Afternoon Snack- Dunkin’ Donuts… except for C., who is attending The Nutcracker with Bama!
D-Sunday Supper at Bama & Papa’s

Monday:
B-PB Craisin Oatmeal w/ a sprinkle of choc chips, Milk
L-Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Mango, Pretzels, Water
D-Lasagna, Green Beans

Tuesday:
B-Strawberry Muffins, Cheese, Juice
L-HB Eggs, Crackers, Apples, Water
D-Mexican Chicken and Rice, Corn

Wednesday:
B-Strawberry Muffins, Apple Slices, Milk
L-HB Egg, Crackers, Oranges, Water
D-Chili Dogs, Carrot Sticks

Thursday:
B-PB Craisin Toast, Milk
L-Buttered Macaroni & Carrots, String Cheese, Water
D-Turkey Veggie Soup, Garlic Bread in the round

Friday:
B-Smoothies, Toast
L-C’s party!  (menu planned and coming!)

Saturday: (Christmas Eve AND C’s actual 6th birthday!  Breakfast and lunch are the birthday girl’s requests…)
B-Donuts, Ham, Grapes
L-Macaroni & Cheese, Raisins, Jello
D-Christmas Eve dinner at my sister’s house after Mass.  (I’m not sure what the menu is yet, but since she and my BIL are both good cooks, I’m confident that it will be delicious!)

I’m excited for a very fun week chock full of celebrations!  Oh, and for any of you who may followed the “punch debate” on my FB page, I’ve opted to serve water, sparkling juice, and a hot cocoa bar.  I’m hoping at least MOST people can find something to be satisfied with there. :)
