Menu Plan: 10/2 – A Sunday Supper Quandry

Ack!  It’s 11:15 on Sunday morning and, while I have fed my littles an early breakfast and served my whole crew brunch, I’ve not planned a single thing for supper yet– help a girl out!  What should I serve this Sunday evening?  Any grand ideas?

As for the rest of the week, here’s what’s hittin’ our table:

Early Breakfast for the littles-Cereal, Yogurt, Juice (before 7:30am mass)
Brunch-Egg & Cheese Bagel Sandwiches (onion bagels– my FAVES!), Jello, Fruit
Mid-Afternoon Snack-Popcorn

B-PB Raisin Oatmeal w/ Choc Chips, Milk
L-Egg Salad Sandwiches, Apples, Water
D-Turkey Burgers, Chili Cheese Fries, Carrot Sticks

L-Cheese Quesadillas, Raisins, Water
D-Cheese Pizza for the kids, a Crab Leg feast for the ‘rents after they’re all tucked in!

B-Key Lime Shortbread Muffins, Yogurt, Juice
L-P,B,&J, Oranges, Water
D-Mac & Cheese w/ homemade queso sauce

B-C/S Raisin Toast, Milk
L-Buttered Mac & Carrots, Water
D-Grilled Cheese, Homemade Chicken Soup w/ garden veggies

D-Garlic, Shrimp, and Tomato Pizza

B-Breakfast Burritos, Milk (my husband has a love-hate relationship with these– he LOVES them, but hates how stuffed he gets because he eats too many! ;))
L-Chicken & Noodles, Apples, Water
D-Asian Chicken & Veggies over Rice

So, if I can figure out what I’m cooking tonight, we should be all set!  What do YOU enjoy for Sunday supper?

When I was a kid, Sunday supper was always “just find something”. But we also always had “dinner” at midday, so no one was all that hungry in the evening. Now, I usually do easy meals Sunday, because I like a break! My go-to meals are pot roast, spaghetti, and soup and sandwiches. Tonight is soup and sandwiches, because I don’t have a roast in the freezer and we had spaghetti Friday.
