Menu Plan: 9/25 – The Big “35″

Today is my husband’s 35th birthday– woo hoo!  So, if you notice some, um, less-than-healthy meals planned for Sunday?  Now you know why… :)  Here we go!

Sunday: (Happy Birthday, Handsome Man of Mine!)

Early Breakfast for the littles-Cereal, Applesauce, Milk (before 7:30am mass)
Brunch-Scrambled Eggs w/ Cheese, Homemade Donuts
Mid-Afternoon Snack-Ramen Noodles, Fruit
D-Seafood Crepes (What did I tell you?  EVERY time he’s asked what he wants, this is what he picks!!)

B-Maple Raisin Oatmeal, Milk
L-P, B, & J, Oranges, Water
D-Homemade Ravioli, Green Beans (Are you coming for supper, Rebekah?)

B-Summer Squash Bread, Cheese, Juice
L-Hot Dog, Raisins, Water
D-Patty Melts w/ caramelized onions, Salad

B-Summer Squash Bread, Raisins, Milk
L-Grilled Cheese, Apple Slices, Water
D-Tomato Soup, Garlic Bread (<– I now make my own Tomato Soup, but I still like to “soup it up” in one of these ways!)

B-PB Raisin Toast, Milk
L-Buttered Mac & Peas, Water
D-Sweet Rolls, Cheese, Cold Cuts, Fruit

B-Chocolate Blueberry Smoothies, Apples
D-Ham & Mushroom Pizza

B-Cinnamon Rolls, Sausage Links, Milk

D-Chili Mac ‘n Cheese, Corn

And, with that, September ends.  Someone, please, tell me how that happened!  I truly worry sometimes about how fast time will pass in the future because it already feels like it’s flying by at such a speedy rate!

What’s your “birthday meal tradition”?  Do you go out?  Cook the birthday kid/spouse’s fave meals?  Treat it like any other day? ;)  I’d love to hear!
