Long ago, I wrote about how much our family loves the Playskool Busy Ball Popper. Three babies have played with it so far and it is- by far- a favorite around here.
Readers agreed! They didn’t much like chasing the balls down for their children (that’s what older siblings are for!
), but they loved theirs too.
Months later, I laughingly shared with you all how “Playskool Busy Ball Popper replacement balls” is one of the top search terms that lands on my site. What a disappointment for all those people… I definitely didn’t answer that question in my post!
I’m here to answer it now, folks.
Should you be in possession of a Busy Ball Popper with missing balls, you can go here , fill out the form and, for $4.00, get a set of five replacement balls in a bag. Much cheaper than buying a whole new toy (at $24.99).
There. Don’t say I never helped you out.
This post is linked to Frugal Friday.
(Incidentally, whenever you find yourself in this situation, the easiest first step is to go to the manufacturer’s website and find the link for customer service. Sometimes they’ll have a section for “missing parts”. Otherwise, fill out the contact form and someone will email you back!)
I would like to know where I can go to get the replacement balls for the Playskool ball poppers.
Thanks, Lee Ann
Hi Lee Ann, The link to the form for requesting more balls for the ball popper is right within this post. Thanks! -JL
Yes! I have found this f orm too because I refused to give in and pay $15 on eBay for them. Thank you for sharing.
I am highly disappointed with Playskool. I just called and the replacement balls are 4.99 + 5.99 shipping + tax. WHich means the five replacement balls would cost mearound $12. All I can say is Fisher Price customer relations is 10x better. I will no longer buy playskool items.
We had to buy these replacemet balls a few years ago for the Playskool train. Our dog kept eating them. :c) The good thing is that all of the Playskool toys with balls use the same type of ball so when you get more of these toys you don’t have to worry with lossing the balls.
Interchangeable balls!
That is good to know, actually. Nothing worse than toys with parts that *almost* fit other toys, but not quite…
I would like to order these replacement balls.
There’s a link right within the post for the form you need to reorder, Kay… hope that helps!
It’s only for USA
Do you know where I could order some delivered in Canada ?
I called their customer service number, Chouclaque– they deliver to Canada!
There’s an option for Canada right on this form: https://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/SCPayShip.htm?com=gc&RCV=S8997G4wg9898640523170S6997G4hm987%5ChxoLTRM~SGNS5997djhh967V72X3143679U33XZ9W2976759UYY1188S7997djhw990792370721S4997G4 Hope that helps!
I found where and how on Hasbro website… But with shipping, handle and import fee… it comes to 35$ for 5 ball… Rather buy a bran new game it’s less expensive !! lolll
Thanks for your help and fast answer
Oh, you’re welcome– sorry about the shipping. That’s pretty crazy! Do they have a free shipping threshold for Canada? (It’s $50 for the US.) Sometimes I buy gifts ahead just so I don’t have to pay shipping.
Just got off the phone. A bag of 5 balls costs 4.99 PLUS 6.98 for shipping PLUS tax. It came up to about $12.50 just for replacement balls for a $30 toy!!!! Ridiculous!!!!
Yikes, that is crazy! Another commenter has had success buying pop-n-play balls from PETCO (they’re designed for ferrets, apparently)– $6.97 for 15 balls. Maybe that will help!
Go to PETCO and buy a pop-n-play ball pak for ferrets. $6.97 for 15 balls and they work great!
That’s a great suggestion– thanks for sharing!
I just ordered the Pop-N-Play ball pack from Amazon — $7.34 for a pack of 15. When coupled with another order, it qualified for free shipping. The link on the amazon site is http://www.amazon.com/Marshall-Pet-Products-Pop-N-Play-Ball/dp/B007ZN5TWO
Thanks for the tip– appreciate it!
